THURSDAY 3rd December @6.30pm.

There are plenty of reasons to join our next swop at Mill Street Studios. You get to revamp your wardrobe without having to hit the high street. You also get to meet new people and have a chat about style and fashion! So rethink your spending habits and try some ethical fashion therapy!

The idea is simple, come along and bring at least one good quality, clean item of clothing, or an accessory, that you would feel proud to hand on. Each and all of the following will be accepted: dresses, skirts, trousers, tops (no t-shirts), jackets, coats, suits, shirts & blouses, jumpers, scarves, gloves, hats, handbags, jewellery and shoes.Unfortunately Penney’s or Primark pieces are barred!

For every item you hand in you receive a token. You then have a chance to peruse the rails of clothing and accessories to see if anything takes your fancy (glass of wine and snack in hand). There will be an opportunity to try on your lovelies on the night before bringing them to their new home. You then exchange your tokens for your new sustainable wardrobe.
So come on and join us in swoping!

This workshop was held as part of the school’s Visual Arts Week last May. The children enjoyed the workshop immensely and voted it their best classroom experience of the year. They are justifiably proud of the resulting prints.
